Luigerman is a creator, artist and photographer from Cucuta. He has taken his work to different cultures, participating in artistic projects that allow communities to express themselves and be architects of changes in their spaces, environments and dynamics. Luigerman's creative journey evolved organically and spontaneously. Inspired by the streets of New York, he uses his photographic gaze to portray spaces and places, express emotions, metaphors, desires and to capture the contradictions of the hectic demands of life and the necessary calm for artistic expression. He worked in New York with the French artist JR. There he began his creative journey, understanding the power of art as a tool for expressing identities and transforming realities.
He has worked with large-format, high-impact photographic installations and coordinated global art platforms through his own physical spaces and social networks. Among these, he works on the initiatives of the Inside Out project, an art platform that invites communities around the world to be protagonists of their own artistic processes, generating dialogues, transforming spaces and revolutionizing their worlds, the organization 100Cameras and the MicroGalleries artistic collective. The journey continues, connecting with communities in Nepal, Iraq, Brazil and Colombia with projects to which he gives his sensitive view of the world, using photography as a tool of expression, dialogue, awareness and recognition.
