This Was It
The Shoalhaven River Festival invited Micro Galleries to launch their upcoming Micro Galleries (Nowra) at their local community festival. Over 20,000 people attended throughout the weekend. Featuring our core international artists, many of the works were interactive including Mim Golub's Mail Art Project (for which she is still receiving art posted back to her in the USA from Nowra!) and Erlend Depine's sound tour under the bridge can still be heard via QR codes. Chuck Scalin's major work that plastered the plinths' under the iconic Nowra bridge can sometimes be seen partly immersed under the water.
