Kat Roma Greer BCA;BA, Exec.Cert. Evt Mngt, MA (Research), University of Sydney. Kat is a cultural manager, curator, creator and urban disruptor for regenerative change. Based in Asia for the past 16 years, Kat works through a framework of dynamic creative practice, collaboration, cultural knowledge-sharing, and thought-partnership to assist those who want to make a difference and impact in the world with their business, creations and attitudes. She has worked in event, project, and cultural management, as well as a range of creative practices in the arts for over 21 years. Kat has a strong interest in contemporary and innovative practices, and how this can elevate business and ideas into a new realm of possibility. She founded and has creatively led the global arts initiative Micro Galleries as Artistic Director for 11 years, founded women-centred guerilla consulting company, Urban Nasty; was co-founder and creative collaborator of arts collective Rue de la Rocket, a Director of Sydney alternative arts space The Red Rattler, and was shortlisted for Sydney University Alumni awards, winner of University of Wollongong Alumni Awards for Arts and Culture, was named as one of Australia's 100 Women of Influence, and one of the top 10 in Culture. She’s most recently led Micro Galleries’ The Good Lab initiative which has just been named by the Museum for the United Nations as one of the Top 10 Culture for Impact projects in 2024, is on the jury for Apex Art NYC, and has just returned from the prestigious artist residency Alumni Expedition with The Arctic Circle.
